Lara holds a Bachelor's degree from the College of William & Mary and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health from Regent University.  Counseling is Lara's "encore career" following over twenty years in corporate America as an instructional designer and trainer. Prior to corporate America, Lara taught at the high school and college level. 

     Lara is a committed Christian who led a ministry for women grappling with difficult relationships and divorce for many years. Her passion to reach the hurting with the same grace she found in her faith in her own times of need inspired her career transformation. 

     Lara is a Licensed Professional Counselor with expertise in helping families and members of families impacted by addiction and dysfunction. She frequently counsels clients struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, parenting issues, career decisions, codependency, crises of faith, elder care, and relationship stressors. Lara works with clients as young as age 11.

     Lara and her husband, Tony, have three grown children and four grandchildren and a very spoiled corgi. They enjoy traveling, gourmet food, and a good laugh.
